  5. The enclosed file is a self-extracting archive of a Disk Copy 1440K disk image.
  6. To use, download, double-click the downloaded file (this decompresses it),
  7. and use Disk Copy to create a disk.

  25. Power Macintosh Update for AV-Equipped Computers
  26.  
  27. On certain AV-equipped Power Macintosh computers the card that controls the audio-vision functions may not be set up correctly, causing Macintosh 21"    monitors to be unviewable.

  29. “!PowerAV Update” is a system software extension that will fix the problem. The extension is included in the floppy disk named “Power Macintosh AV Update Disk.” You may have obtained the extension from an online service such as AppleLink.

  31. To install the extension:

  33. 1. Drag the “!PowerAV Update” icon from the floppy disk (or downloaded from an online service) to your System Folder (the System Folder should be closed). When asked if you want the extension placed in the Extensions folder, answer Yes.

  35. 2. Restart your computer.

  37. After you restart you will see the monitor “straighten out” and look fine.
